Many offices on campus utilize the calendar feature in Outlook to schedule appointments with students. It is extremely important to verify that you have the correct time zone selected in your student email. If the incorrect time zone is set, appointments scheduled for you will come into your calendar at the incorrect time.
Please check your time zone by doing the following:
- Log into your Roanoke College student email account
- In the top right hand corner, click the Settings Icon
- Select “Calendar” at the bottom of the listing that appears
- Select “Calendar” at the bottom of the listing that appears
- On the far left hand slide, click on “General” –> “Region and time zone”
- You will see “Current time zone” listed at the bottom of that window
- Make sure it says “(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)”
- If it does not say that, click the pull down arrow and select the Eastern Time Zone
- Click “Save” that is at the top of the window
