Connecting an Android Device to the WiFi

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click on Wifi
  3. Choose from the list of available networks:
    • RCStudent: choose this option if you are a RC student
    • RCFacStaff: choose this option if you are a faculty/staff member
  4. There are three settings you will need to check:
    • EAP Method – PEAP
    • Phase 2 Authentication – MSCHAPv2
    • CA Certificate – Unspecified or Do not validate
    • Domain – roanoke.edu
  5. Enter your Roanoke College username under “Identity” and password when prompted. (Leave Anonymous Identity blank)
  6. You should now be connected to your chosen network
