Students, staff, and faculty will need their RC email address and password to set up email on their mobile devices.
Below, you’ll find step-by-step instructions based on your device type (Apple or Android) and your preferred email app (your phone’s built-in Mail app or the Outlook app).
For Apple Devices
Adding an account within your phone’s built-in Mail app:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and select Mail
- Select Accounts > Add Account
- Select Exchange – NOT Outlook.com
- Enter your full RC email address
- When prompted, select Sign In
- You will be redirected to the Microsoft Login page
- Enter your RC password > Sign In
- Choose an option to Verify your identity > tap Verify
- Select Save
Downloading the Outlook app (recommended):
- Download the Outlook app in App Store
- Open the app, enter your full RC email address and tap Add Account
- If prompted, select Work or School Account
- You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page
- Enter your RC password > Sign In
- Choose an option to Verify your identity > tap Verify
- If asked to Add Another Account > tap Maybe Later
- At this point, the Add Account wizard is complete, and your RC Email account should be added to the Outlook ap
For Android Devices
Adding an account within your phone’s built-in Mail App:
- Open the Email App > tap Add Account
- Choose Office365 as account type
- Enter your full RC email.
- You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page
- Enter your RC password > tap Verify
- Choose an option to Verify your identity > tap Verify
- Select Save
Downloading the Outlook app (recommended):
- Download the Microsoft Outlook App in PlayStore
- Open the app, enter your full RC email address and tap Add Account
- You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page
- Enter your RC password > Sign In
- Choose an option to Verify your identity > tap Verify
- If asked to Add Another Account > tap Maybe Later
- At this point, the Add Account wizard is complete, and your RC Email account should be added to the Outlook app.
